Activate a license key

A license key looks like GLAUCO-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX. You get it by email after you buy. You also find it at glauco.app/account. Activation needs an internet connection.

1. Open the email on the computer where Glauco is installed.
2. Click Activate in Glauco. A page opens in your browser and opens Glauco.
3. If Glauco does not open, click Open Glauco on the page.
4. In Enter license key, the key is filled in. Enter your email in Seat email.
5. Click Activate.
6. When it says Your license is active, click Done.

The page is at licenses.glauco.app/activate/ followed by your key. It opens the link glauco://activate?key= with your key. The link only fills in the key. Nothing activates until you click Activate.

If Glauco is not installed yet, download it, then open the link again.

1. Click Enter key in the banner. Or open Settings > License and click Enter key.
2. Paste the key in License key. Case, spaces and dashes do not matter.
3. Enter your email in Seat email: the email of the person who uses this seat.
4. Change Install label if you like. It helps your team admin tell your computers apart.
5. Click Activate.

Settings > License shows your Plan, Status, Seat email, Install label, Install ID, Lease and Last checked.

• Glauco checks the license about once a day when it is online.
• Each check renews the lease for up to 30 days. Offline, Glauco keeps working until the lease ends.
• Click Check now to check at once.
